One of the most famous and oldest ballet companies of the world, the Bolshoi ballet of Moscow, Russia has selected 3 central JCDecaux locations in Vilnius in order to promote its recent "Le Corsaire" ballet coming for the only show in Vilnius. The surprise factor was that real ballerinas from Vilnius academy of dance were selected in order to give their live performances right on the streets of Vilnius!

The performances were held with the support of the "Le Corsaire" score playing in the background inside of 3 premium column locations in the heart of Vilnius on June the 10th. The act has taken the city and the media by storm with reports on it being the headlines of the news and numerous articles in country media.

"Le Corsaire" performed by the Bolshoi is the spectacular 2007 revival of the classic ballet, which premiered in June, 2007. It is a homage to the 'ballet à grand spectacle' staged in Imperial Russia and the most expensive production of a ballet ever to be staged, costing around 1.5 million USD and showcasing up to 60 dancers performing simultaneously on stage.
