"JCDecaux Lithuania", the leading outdoor advertising brand in Lithuania, has received an international trophy.

"JCDecaux Lithuania", the leading outdoor advertising agency in Lithuania, has received an international trophy "Fit for the future 2008 - Building the world of outdoor" awarded by "JCDecaux Group" for the creative concept, "Bettercity".

A total of 52 "JCDecaux" country subsidiaries have participated in the award ceremony and submitted their concepts and solutions.

"Bettercity" is a joint project of "JCDecaux Lietuva" and Vilnius City Municipality, which represents the development strategy for Vilnius City bus shelters network.

„We have joined the "JCDecaux Group" only in 2005 and this award proves that the new branches can also be innovative and creative. I hope that this achievement will break the stereotype that the new subsidiaries of large corporations only use the global experience and adapt it to their local needs and rarely create something truly new. We are happy that the jury has especially appreciated comparatively low investments, fast roll-out time and opportunity to use it in other countries with only minimal changes" - Vadimas Komarskis, marketing director of "JCDecaux Lietuva" has commented.

Since the roll-out of the website in late Autumn 2007, over 50.000 people have visited it.
