The national business daily Verslo Žinios (Business News) announces the top ten companies in the advertising and public relations sector, based on a ranking model developed by its analysts. The leader of this year’s ranking is the out-of-home advertising company JCDecaux Lithuania.

Verslo Žinios, using a ranking model developed by its analysts, announces the leaders in various sectors for the eighth time. They are ranked based on company performance in 2022. New criteria this year include the average number of employees in the company and the salaries that are paid to them.

This year’s first-ranked agency, JCDecaux Lithuania, is one of the few agencies in the advertising and communication sector to maintain its position among the top 10 strongest companies almost every year: it was ranked second in 2022, third in 2021, first in 2020 and third in 2019.

“It is not the largest company even in its own segment, let alone in other business sectors, but its strength lies in its profitability, whose indicators have remained high year after year. To sum it up, it is a well-run, profitable business. The management here does not seem to change either, the company is growing steadily and consistently at the top of its field,” said Arūnas Janeliūnas, Head of Data Analysis at Verslo Žinios.

Last year, JCDecaux Lithuania’s revenue grew by more than 30%, its pre-tax profit by almost 48% and its profitability reached almost 30%. The agency ranked first in terms of profitability in all the years analysed.

Žaneta Fomova, CEO of JCDecaux Lithuania, said the recipe for success is quite simple – the company is growing thanks to constant effort.

“It is one thing to rocket to the top for a year and become a leader, but it is certainly not an easy task to maintain that leading position year after year. We have been a leader in out-of-home advertising in Lithuania for almost 17 years, and together we are constantly pushing those boundaries, investing in new technologies and forms of advertising, and growing steadily,” said  Fomova.
